Thanks to everyone who came to the dinner on Monday. It was a small, but talented group. I loved hearing everyone’s first few pages.
Did meeting with the blog-crew inspire you to do better?
I’ll be honest. It made me want to actually finish my second novel.
Some of you guys are on your third and fourth drafts, and I’m sitting over here stuck in the middle of three novels, not knowing where to go.
So I’ve set a secret goal for myself for the rest of the summer, and I am hoping that for once in my life, I can achieve the goal.
We talked about having more marathons. I think we will all benefit from that.

We need to hurry up and get signed up already! It’s going to be a great year.
I am hoping that I can be finished with at least a full draft of two of my stories by then.

yes good luck on your goals! i was very sad to miss it, but am determined that next time i will reschedule whatever i have to in order to make it. ANd have something new to read. š i want to participate in the next marathon too. so yes, keep ’em coming. you guys are great.
