Yes. Us too. Can’t you tell by the post lately?

I feel bad.

So I’m going to post this week about two very amazing ladies.

Ann Dee Ellis.

And my mom. Carol Lynch Williams.

I know that both of them are going through some rough stuff right now. Stuff I know that I couldn’t handle without a handle of something.

Really. It’s true. I don’t’know how they do it.

Ann Dee just wrote one of the best novels I’ve ever written.

Seriously.  When she FINALLY let me read it, I sat down at work, and read it in one sitting. I couldn’t help it. It was such a great story. I’d read it again right now if I had a copy of it.

You’re all in for a treat {“in for a treat” a phrase I can’t stand} when it comes out. Seriously. That book deserves to win every award possible.

Not only is she a fantastic writer, but she’s also a great mother.

Really. Her kids are great. And that could only mean one thing…yes. They have a great Mom.

And she’s a great friend. She read my entire boring ass plotless novel, AND left me notes.

I didn’t even pay her. Although I probably should have now that I think about it.

Ann Dee. We love you.

My Mother.

I could write an entire blog about her. I could write pages and pages about how wonderful she is. And how amazing she is.

I don’t know how she does what she does. If I were her, I don’t know if I’d even be here.

She’s one tough cookie. She’s hilarious, AND she’s the best writer I know.

Her and Ann Dee both.

Every book she writes is better than the last. How is that possible? How can you top something like The Chosen One?

Well she did. Three times. {Wait. How many books have come out since that novel?}

Anyway.

I love you Mom. You’re the best.

I always hear you honk the horn as you drive by my store.
